is provided by a German language tutor in Johannesburg prior to departure
and is required
for aupairs travelling to
Germany
or Austria
that do not have matric or Level A1 of German. This is a
requirement for the visa for
Germany
.

Belgium

you must have matric Afrikaans or German or French.
With
the exception of the
UK
,
Denmark
,
Greece
and
Australia
,
host families will register their aupair at a language school**
after arrival so that you are able to speak the language of your
chosen country fluently by the time you return.

In
all programs Medical insurance is provided by the host family,
with the exception of the
United
Kingdom
and
Greece
.
If
you are not willing to rely on public health in the
UK
,
medical Insurance is an optional extra.

A
UK
working holiday visa requires you to have
a minimum of R25,000 in your bank account at the time you
apply for your visa.
Australia
,
Italy
and
Spain
will require you to show proof of R10,000 in your bank account for
each month of your stay.
Other countries do not require any proof of funds if you are on
the aupair program.
